ABOUT KEY CLUB

What is Key Club?

Although the name may be misleading, we do not make keys! Key Club is a community service club! It is the largest student-led organization internationally, meaning you can find clubs all over the world!

Key Club is a Kiwanis-sponsored international high school student-led organization which provides its members with opportunities to serve our community, build character and develop leadership. Through Key Club, members not only better their communities but also support our International Service Partners; Pediatric Trauma Program (PTP), Project Eliminate (MNT), March of Dimes, UNICEF, and Children’s Miracle Network. D15N consists of 10 high school clubs: Alta Loma, Chaffey, Claremont, Etiwanda, Los Osos, Ontario, Rancho Cucamonga, San Antonio, and Upland.

Our club of the Division 15 North Giraffes is one of many divisions in our region, which would be the Region 13 Lionfish! Following that, our region also falls into many other regions to make up the California-Nevada-Hawaii District; and districts make up Key Club International!

Key Club Structure

Progress (2).jpg

Key Club is represented by an inverted pyramid with the members at the top. This is because our members, aka YOU, are the most important governing body of Key Club! Key Clubbers make up a home club, which would be your school's Key Club. Home clubs make up a division. The high schools of Alta loma, Chaffey, Claremont, Etiwanda, Los Osos, Ontario, Rancho Cucamonga, San Antonio, and Upland make up the Division 15 North Giraffes!

Our division, along with a few others, make up the Region 13 Lionfish. Regions make up Districts, which we belong to the CNH District, short for California-Nevada-Hawaii. Lastly, all districts fall under Key Club International!

Overall, Key Club is sponsored by Kiwanis, an international service organization that has five other branches: Key Club, Circle K, K Kids, Aktion Club, and Builders Club; each specialized according to different age groups!
