Senior Prom
"On April 15th, Key Clubbers help to give senior citizens another go at prom. We helped the Upland community and Kiwanis serve all the citizens as they enjoyed their makeshift prom afternoon. They danced as we shuffled to make sure their bellies were full and some of the key clubbers even joined the floor to have their own fun. After all the food was served all the members retired to a back room to have some food of their own. Everyone ate and had fun as the afternoon came to a satisfying close. We even got the treat of seeing one of our members ask another to prom, warranting cheers from all the members leaving the venue." - Prince Llo, Alta Loma Historian

Etiwanda Color War
"On April 16th, Etiwanda had our very own color war! This event was both a color war and Olympics
between each grade level. We first checked in those who signed up and we had a great turnout! We
started the day off by playing Poncho, a game where you dance against another group and whoever can’t come up with a new dance move is out. For our first game, we played Musical Chairs and the sophomores won. Shortly after, we played Capture the Flag and it was between Juniors versus
Seniors and Freshman versus Sophomores and the sophomores also won this game. For our very
last game, we had a Balloon Relay Race where each grade had to partner up with someone and pop
the balloon first to win. The sophomores won the Olympics and we had a color war afterwards.
Everyone received colored powder and from there on, everyone had loads of colors on them. I was a
leader for the juniors and it was lots of fun to see two whole months worth of planning to finally
happen. Thank you to everyone who went to our color war and I hope you had tons of fun and made some new memories." - Sharon Lance, Etiwanda Junior Representative

April DCM

"On April 29, 2022, the first DCM of D15N’s new term (April’s DCM) was held at Victoria Arbors Park in Rancho Cucamonga. This “Balloon Bash” DCM was held in order to introduce the new Division Leadership Team, update members on the club and division’s progress, and raise donations for the Pediatric Trauma Program by dumping water on the new team. To start off the event, we began with
an ice-breaker competition of song association, which energized and stirred up both teams. Representatives from each school then went up and announced their recent and future accomplishments/events. Our new LTG, Gerard Day, then “adjourned the meeting” by ringing the Key Club Bell, which was then followed by our new team serving us pizza. The most exciting part occurred directly after this… the “Balloon Bash”! Members of our club began buying water balloons and buckets filled with water, and started using them on the new team and each other! After the event, it was really nice to see how each member helped out by cleaning up the venue and throwing away any popped balloons and trash. This DCM gave me the opportunity to meet members from other schools and became one of my favorite memories this April!" - Brigette Aquino, Etiwanda Historian
