OCTOBER
Rancho Backyard Session
On Saturday, October 11th, we had our annual Rancho Backyard Session! This year, the theme was Katseye GAP denim, and it was so nice seeing everyone dress up. We started the event off strong by going into our spirit session, going through both of our main chants, and even learning a couple of battle chants. Our members were so hype and ready for WRS! Then we got dinner and milkshakes, which everyone loved! Afterwards, we got into the talent show portion of the night and saw so many talented people perform. There were singers, dancers, and the entire Rancho Executive Board even sang a song together! All in all, the Rancho Backyard Session was a night to remember, and we can’t wait for next year!

OCTOBER Happily Ever AfteR-TC
Region Training Conference
On Saturday, October 25th, at Duarte High School, Region 13 hosted our Happily Ever After-TC. During this event, members learned the official region chant and participated in many fun and informative workshops. These workshops taught us many things, such as how to be a confident officer, and even how to be a “Key Club baddie,” which helped encourage leadership and teamwork. Throughout the day, members worked together to complete scavenger hunts and collect cute gold and silver crowns in order to earn points for their division. This made the event exciting and competitive while still helping everyone get the information they needed. The conference also gave members the chance to meet new people, make friends, and connect with other Key Clubbers from across the region. Overall, this training conference was a great opportunity to learn more about different officer positions, strengthen leadership skills, and to overall grow as a member of Key Club while leaving an impact for future years!

NOVEMBER
Bonfire Kickback DCM
On the 29th of November, 2025, Division 15 North held a Bonfire Kickback DCM. This event was LOTS of fun, as I was able to hang out around a bunch of key clubbers and bond over stories! When the event first started, all members went to the backyard area and hung out until everyone was there, then the DCM portion began! They handed out club awards and gave updates on each club, which is always lovely to hear about. After that, LTG Bryan said it was time to eat! Everyone was served, and we were called over towards the campfire, where we began to make s'mores. They were so bomb, and I think it was a top 5 DCM so far. Once we all settled down, we went around playing Imposter, telling stories, and just laughing together as a club! I think that the outcome was smaller, but still lots and lots of fun.

NOVEMBER Kiwanis Takeover
Kiwanis Takeover
On Wednesday morning, November 26, Division 15 North partnered with our sponsoring Kiwanis (Upland Foothill Kiwanis) to host a Kiwanis Takeover Meeting. The goal of the event was to strengthen our connection with Kiwanis members and to educate everyone about the Governor’s Project. During the meeting, LTG Bryan and Division Event Coordinator Karlie Thap presented an informative overview of the Governor’s Project and current issues surrounding world hunger. Their presentation helped both Key Club and Kiwanis members better understand the project's importance and its crucial impact on communities in need.
Afterwards, a bake sale was held to raise funds for World Central Kitchen. Our D15N Event Coordinator, Karlie Viste-Thap, sold her own baked goods, including chocolate chip cookies, maple blondies, snickerdoodle cookies, banana bread, and pumpkin cream cheese muffins. Thanks to everyone’s support, the bake sale raised a total of $116 in support of the Governor’s Project. After the presentation, members served for an hour by assembling food bags with nonperishable donations from both Kiwanis and Key Club members. By the end of the event, 16 full food bags were completed. Overall, the takeover meeting was a meaningful and successful event.

DECEMBER
D15NW x Goldstone Kiwins x Moonlight CKI Iceskating DCM
On December 20th, our division had the pleasure of hosting the annual ice skating DCM alongside the fantastic Division 15 West, Gold Stone Kiwins, and the newly welcomed Moonlight Circle K! We kicked things off by presenting exciting new awards, including those for the highest attendance, the most media coverage, and the club with the most service hours. It was such a fun-filled day! During the event, we also enjoyed a lively white elephant gift exchange, filled with shared laughter and cheerful surprises. As we stepped onto the skating rink, we were greeted by a chilly atmosphere. While some members glided across the ice like seasoned pros, others took a few tumbles along the way. Ultimately, it was a delightful experience that brought us all together. We had a great time skating, creating wonderful memories, and strengthening our bonds!

DECEMBER Ice Skating DCM
Rose Float Decorating
Real Southern California magic on TV, where volunteers complete the majority of the magic. Volunteers cut flowers, sort through seeds, and glue these items onto the larger-than-life floats. The small factory line of elves during the holiday season brings joy to many as they create bonds with workers and other volunteers. Even after cutting flowers for hours on end, one can still appreciate the colors they give and the effort of creativity the directors put into displaying these colors. Volunteers contribute their time to help creative minds showcase their work to millions of people. With sticky hands from the glue, volunteers get to be on top of the floats, gluing flowers and seeds in a particular order to create a beautiful, organized exhibit.
